Federal authorities are investigating after two top executives were fired from Alabama's only organ donation center.
A spokeswoman for the University of Alabama at Birmingham said Thursday the director and assistant director of the Alabama Organ Center were dismissed over allegations they had an improper financial relationship with a vendor. A school foundation administers the organ center.
