Opponents of Net Neutrality Mislead Voters as Overturn Passes House

As expected after the procedural vote earlier in the week, on Friday, the House voted 240-179 to overturn Net Neutrality rules.

The Republican-backed initiative now moves to an uncertain vote in the Senate and a likely veto from President Obama.

FCC Net Neutrality rules are designed to prevent broadband carriers from controlling the speeds at which users can access different websites.

Whether the Government should be involving itself in the Internet is a complicated issue worthy of debate.
