Shocking Truth: Sarah Palin Was Actually Right!

After her little misstep, the media had a field day with the video and with the quote, claiming that she was an absolutely clueless ditz, who had no right to run for office in a country who’s history she obviously failed miserably to understand or even know about. Then, one or two historians came out and mentioned a little-known written account of the historic night, written by Paul Revere himself in testimony before the Continental Congress. In the official testimony, Paul Revere mentions being stopped by a small detachment of British soldiers, who treated him with the utmost disrespect. He then mentions telling one of the soldiers that they should stop their advance into Concord, because they would be met with a large force of Militia who would gladly shoot them on sight if they attempted to invade the towns. In this little known text, Revere very clearly states that he indeed did warn the Brits that we were coming to stop them, and that if they continued their advance into Lexington and Concord, they would be shot.

Now, it’s likely that Sarah Palin really did mess up, and say something that was really senseless by mistake. However, it looks like she may have just been correct, whether on purpose or by sheer luck! Either way, it’s pretty funny and ironic, and a piece of trivia most of us probably would have never otherwise known about.
